Our Story

Hellooo! Amelia here! Founder, owner and everything in-between of 'Sorbie'. 

Golf has been a prevalent part of my life for a long time now, and I first got introduced at 17. Mind you...not the best intro to the sport. At 17 you still fall under the 'kids' category...so imagine never picking a club up before, and going to group lessons with 10 year olds who'd been golfing since before they could walk. Slightly intimidating, didn't catch the golf bug.

2024...I've started slowly going back to the range AGAIN, I start going with friends too...this is enjoyable - lets get some lessons!

2025 - the year of GOLF. I've got the golf bug, and found a local golf club running a women's get into golf scheme!! Perfect!! This was exactly the way I wanted to get into golf. Weekly lessons on the driving range AND the course for 3 months, glorious. The year was spent golfing with friends, going to the Scottish Open, starting a tiktok & just loving golf.

Cut to 'Sorbie'. I got the idea for a golf brand in 2024, when I was slowly getting back into golf. I want to make golfwear for the girls, as whenever I wear an outfit I feel great in, my mindset on the course is great. A saying of mine - 'look cute feel good play well'.

 In creating this brand I hope to create a community and make golf more accessible to girls.
